Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world. Love over fear guys, love over fear.
If you have the ability to help someone or to make someone smile, DO IT!
Yesterday my son and I yet again did a “drop & run”. We went and dropped these off at doorsteps at people’s homes, front doors at many doctor offices, and also in empty isles at the pharmacy and supermarkets. We strategically left these in places where we know people are feeling a sense of defeat and high anxiety. Leaving these in hope to spread a sense of positivity, clam and community spirit.
You see, it’s not about people knowing our names or faces. This is why we are being sneaky when we leave these cards around. It’s about leaving something as simple as a card and a small pack of tissues that can make a difference to someone’s day, especially during such difficult times. This is also an important lesson for my son who is adjusting to these life changes. It is a lesson in how to remain resilient, clam and giving during times of panic and anxiety.
With what our world is experiencing right now people are understandably scared, we are reacting in fear and utter panic. We are making decisions based on that fear and forgetting about others in the process. Anxieties are high and children are suffering in the process. It is during these times that we need positivity most, we must unite as one!
Although I am a statistic of those who are most at risk, paying it forward is extremely important to me and it’s an important lesson for both of my children. ⠀
Love over fear! If you have the opportunity to help someone today, DO IT!
If you learn anything from what the world is experiencing right now: learn how to pay it forward, learn how to care/support your community, learn the importance of compassion and love for both yourself and others. If we can’t get our shit together and unite during a moment of crisis, what hope do we have for our children’s future?
